A Mood Board is the first step in visually bringing an Interior design to life. Here I will bring together a display of anything from paint chips, fabric samples, pictures of furniture, inspiration photos, and more.

Sample Boards

A sample board is a collection of photos of the actual room design selections. This board is more formal and is able to give a person a better indication of how a space will look.

Kitchen renovation Material Board.
Cupboards, tile, paint, countertop, hardware, flooring.

Material Boards

A material board is where we compile actual samples of the products we will be using in the space. Flooring, countertop, tile, paint chips, fabric swatches, and cabinet colour/finish samples could all be included here.

Material Boards

A paint schedule is a organized word document telling you what paint colour/finish/wallpaper to use and where in the home to use it.

Main Floor Renovation-Fixtures & Finishes Schedule. Light fixtures, doorknobs, trim, doors.

Fixture & Finishes Schedules

This is also an organized word document that will tell you exactly which products I have chosen, and where to get them. Fixtures include: lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, trim, and doorknobs. Finishes include: tile, countertop, and flooring.

3D Renders

I can create 3D renderings to help you to better visualize your new space. I can also use this software to create floor plans, electrical plans, play around with different room layouts and more.

The first step in working together is a free short phone call (or video call) 20 mins max.
I'll want to find out your approximate timeline and budget and the general overview of the Interior Design project.
I'll send a follow up email scheduling an in person consultation if you'd like to proceed and ask you to gather some inspirational images for the space.

Step 1: Qualifying Call

I understand that you might be talking to/meeting with other Interior designers, so this step is a chance for me to show you more about my process and is a chance for me to essentially sell myself, my knowledge, and my services to you.
I'll share my client questionnaire with you for you to complete, and we can go over the inspiration images you've collected.

Step 3: The Initial Site Visit

Step 4: Design Concept Presentation

This is my chance to check out the space.
I will take measurements, photos, and some notes, and ask you any questions I have about the space.

Step 4: Design Concept Presentation

I will take all the information I have gathered from you and your home and begin to come up with a design. I will most likely play around with a few options before deciding on the best one to present to you.
Please note if you don't like my mood board/first design, that's ok! We can pick it apart and I'll (literally) go back to the drawing board.
We will decide on which Interior Design services of mine you would like.

This stage is where I will come up with the final design for the space. It is very labour intensive and will take time depending on the size of the Interior Design project and how many modifications we need to make to the design.
This is the part where I'll create the mood board, sample board, material board, paint schedule, fixture and finishes schedule and possible 3D renderings for the space.

I will create a presentation to show you the final design and everything I have selected for the space as well as approximate costs.
