About Designer Cozy

My name is Alyssa, and I am the Lead Designer and Managing Director of Designer Cozy. While we are a new company, Interior Design is something I am very experienced in. 

Growing up, my parents were always working on a project in our home. Whether it was painting and adding wallpaper, installing ceramic tile and hardwood floors, or knocking down walls and making structural changes, they were always renovating and redesigning our home. I of course helped them with all of these projects, and when I became older started coming up with designs and completed room redesigns on my own. I began experimenting with refurbishing furniture, accessorizing rooms, and created and implemented several different room designs in my first apartment and home. 

 It was only very recently when I made a career change and when deciding what to do next, revisited an old dream of mine to build houses. That led me to the Interior Design Institute where I completed their Interior Design Program. Since then I have been gaining professional experience and building up my knowledge base to help me better serve future clientele designing and creating their dream homes.
